Clark Fowler, a graduate of the NHLA's 94th class, has worked in the hardwood industry for over 25 years. He and his wife have 4 children. Clark enjoys working around the yard and taking care of his family.

Bill Fowler has been working with Fowler Lumber Company since 1997. A graduate of East Tennessee State University, Bill is married and the father of two. He has hands on experience drying White Oak, having personally dried better than 80,000,000 board feet of product. As with all Fowlers, Bill wears a number of hats in day-to-day operations. At this time, Bill's primary responsibility is in sales with a concentration in export markets. He enjoys sunsets and long walks on the beach.

Butch Snider, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, began working in the hardwood industry in 1993. He has been with Fowler Lumber for 18 years. Butch grew up in a small town in Kentucky and spent much of his youth hunting and fishing. He still enjoys duck hunting, several kinds of fishing, and golf.

Gerald Mansfield has a total of 34 years in the hardwood industry, with 24 years of export experience. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting and pre-law, but being a third generation lumberman, decided to enter the hardwood industry in 1977. His previous experience included selling heavy equipment to the construction and logging trade. Later, he attended the HHLA grading school at Haywood Community College in Clyde, NC. Gerald has worked with Fowler Lumber for over 22 years. He now markets the company's lumber overseas under the name Republic Forest Products.

McLean Fowler started working summers on the lumber yard when he was 13 years old and on a full-time basis in January of 2002. He and his wife, Kara, both graduated from the University of Kentucky and have one son, Price. McLean enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and supporting the Kentucky Wildcats!

David Fowler got started in the lumber business at age 16 by stacking lumber during the summers. After graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2002, he began handling KD sales, Green Lumber buying and now handles management of all 26 dry kilns. He and his wife, Jennifer, have one son named Bass and live in Nashville. When he's not spending time with his family and friends, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and anything else outdoors.
